Christmas Goodie Bags

I signed up to make goodie bags for Owen's Christmas party tomorrow.

I’m not exactly sure what I was thinking at the time, seeing as I also had to make something for our work cookie exchange tomorrow!

But I did it. Luckily, running short on ideas and tired of buying junk toys and candy to stuff in a bag, I came up with the most brilliant idea ever! At least I thought so…

On a whim, I had purchased these winter friends stickers at Target. Owen loved them! Every day he would get home from school and ask for a sticker to play with. So, I thought, why not give them to the kids in his class. I figure, I could use some small goodie bags I already had on hand, stuff some stickers in them and be done.

But, then I figured, they’ll need something to stick them on to make their ‘winter scene,’ as pictured on the box. Well, that’s easy, I have sky blue card stock (not sure why?). So I cut up two index card size pieces and stuck those in the bag.

Well, now parents are going to wonder what the paper is for, they need directions! Easy again, just print something up on paper (add a picture of course!), cut it up and stick it in the bags.

WINTER ACTIVITY
Make your own winter scene!
Simply place the foam stickers on the pieces of paper provided.

Done!! I know the kids would probably want candy over stickers. But I’ld rather they have stickers. And I’m the one that made the bags! Hope they enjoy them as much as I did.
